On January 1st, 2017 I made the decision to become a vegetarian. At the time of me making that decision I was not very informed on all things vegetarian. However, I learned as I went along. In the beginning I did not eat meat substitutes. I also decided not to be very strict, being as though no one around me was a vegetarian and I was in a long term relationship with a meat eater. Therefore if I ever went to a restaurant with others and there weren’t any vegetarian options I would not make a big deal out of it and would just choose a fried shrimp meal. So I guess you can say I’m vegetarian-ish.
Anyway, this post isn’t about my vegetarian journey thus far. Although I am not opposed to writing a post about it if that’s something you all are interested in.
Moving on now, I am writing this just to let you know the type of posts you can expect to see from me in regards to food. So it’s basically like a disclaimer.
While you will see home cooked vegetarian and sometimes vegan meals, recipes, vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurants and grocery stores. You may also get some not so vegetarian and vegan things too. The latter may be far and few in between but I will try my best to make it known which post those are.
