First and foremost, turning 30 is something to be excited about. I hope that you are looking forward to the big 3 – 0. I wasn’t always excited to turn thirty, as some of you may know, but the last three years leading up to it I began to feel a sense of excitement around it. Turning thirty started to feel like a second chance at life.

I decided that entering into this next new life, MY next new life, I am going to do the things I have always wanted to do and be the person that I want to be. This brings me to the best 30th birthday idea ever!!

Do something you have always wanted to do.

That’s right, no two people are the same so it would be impossible to say that something like traveling outside of the country is the best thing to do for your 30th birthday. However, I wholeheartedly believe that the best thing you can do for yourself on your 30th birthday is to do something you have always wanted to do.

This is the perfect time to explore your interest, put yourself first, and live a life you enjoy. As you do these things you will be able to step into who you are and thrive. So pull out your bucket list and dust it off, you’ve got some knocking to do! 🙂

I traveled to Kenya for my 30th birthday and spent a little over two weeks there. I honestly had the time of my life. You can look forward to content about my time there coming soon.

Let me know what you did for your 30th birthday in the comments below. If you haven’t turned thirty just yet, let me know what you plan to do.

For my 30th birthday I’m not really sure what I’d like to do however I’ve always wanted to have a prom themed party since I didn’t go to mine. So that’s one of my options
